Advantages of water-based composite adhesives
1. Water-based composite adhesives have good composite strength. The molecular weight of water-based composite adhesives is dozens of times that of polyurethane adhesives. Their bonding force is mainly based on van der Waals forces, which belong to physical adsorption, so a small amount of adhesive can achieve high composite strength. Compared with traditional soluble adhesives, the bonding of water-based composite adhesives is much smaller than that of solvent-based adhesives.

Precautions for water-based composite adhesives
1. Upper glue roller (web roller) and glue application: The amount of water-based composite adhesive applied is small, so selecting the appropriate glue roller is very important. For water-based composite adhesives, the recesses of the glue roller should be shallow and the openings large to allow the adhesive to contact the substrate with the maximum surface area, resulting in a uniform coating, fast drying speed, good composite appearance, and high peel strength. A suitable anilox roller is a prerequisite for ensuring the amount of adhesive and peel strength, and users should adjust it according to equipment conditions and lamination speed. It is recommended to use a 180-200 line/in electro-engraved roller, connecting the mesh holes, with a mesh hole depth of 32-35um. Clean the glue roller frequently during use.
